Briggs Associates Ltd is a coaching and advisory practice specialising in helping software and technology businesses navigate growth. We work closely with CEOs, founders and leadership teams — drawing on real board-level, exit and delivery experience rather than off-the-shelf frameworks, with particular depth in go-to-market and sales strategy. Alongside our technology specialism, we also support senior leaders and teams more broadly through programme delivery, organisational change and career transitions.
John is an exited founder and CEO, and has since completed four further successful exits as Chair or Non-Executive Director of VC/PE backed SaaS, Cyber and technology businesses. He co-founded Commerce Decisions in 2001, building procurement software adopted across major government programmes, and led the business to a successful trade sale to QinetiQ in 2008, delivering a strong multiple for his VC investors. Since then, John has chaired boards and coached CEOs and leadership teams, working with more than 40 clients on growth, go-to-market and sales strategy, and resilience. He speaks regularly at SaaS industry events. John holds a Computer Science degree from Aberystwyth University, which also awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in 2018. He has also completed the Advanced Coaching programme at Oxford University's Department for Continuing Education.
Caroline is a project and programme delivery advisor with a career built across major organisations including QinetiQ and EDS, delivering complex change and technology programmes. She now works with senior leaders and teams to bring that same rigour to project delivery, organisational change and career transitions.
